FallTrak assesses a person's ability to maintain their balance while standing. If your patient's are experiencing feelings of dizziness or are unsteady, then FallTrak can help diagnose and treat your patients. A patient simply stands on a platform, where data force sensors located at each corner of the plate collect valuable data. The data is then processed to deliver printable Stability Scores, along with other pertinent balance information. Evaluations are made with other age-matched normative reports for comparative purposes.
FallTrak software analyzes both static and dynamic balance tests by administering objective assessments with varying degrees of difficulty. The software is incredibly easy for therapists to use and they can easily utilize the built-in training modes. It delivers fast results based on the patient's weight and (the) degree of difficulty of the test being administered. All test data is stored for each patient and includes personal data, medical data, types of tests being administered, (the) degree of difficulty and analysis of their progress. What does VNG include?
An infrared Goggle is the most important piece of equipment for the VNG system. The patient simply looks into the Goggles and all tests are performed. The Goggle is lightweight, durable and comfortable for your patients. VNG provides accurate assessments of the oculomotor and vestibular systems. Movements of the head are analyzed with specific attention paid to retinal images.
